    Future OPC Foundation events include Hanover Fair, an OPC Interoperability Workshop in North America, and OPC Day Europe.  In addition, OPC Foundation member Grid Cloud Systems, Inc. is sponsoring an OpenOpcUa event.

    Hanover Fair

    OPC Foundation will have a 100 square meter booth in hall 9 booth A11, sponsored by Kepware, MatrikonOPC, ProSys OPC, Softing, Siemens, and Unified Automation.

    Visit the booth and see how RFID readers from HARTING and Siemens with integrated OPC UA technology easily connect horizontally to other OPC UA enabled devices and also vertically to MES systems. The Fair starts on April 13.

    OPC Interoperability Workshop

    This workshop is “the” event for testing OPC products for interoperability and preparing them for market. Vendors can test and debug their products against one another for IOP_Photo-300x189interoperability, compliance and reliability. IOP workshops also provide an ideal opportunity to network with your peers, learn about OPC technology and interact with industry-leading experts.  The workshop will be hosted by Honeywell in Phoenix, Arizona from April 20 through 24.  Details and registration.

    An OPC Interoperability Workshop is scheduled for Japan in June.

    OPC Day Europe

    On May 19-20, this OPC Day conference will be held at the Microsoft Conference Center, Le Campus in Paris with the theme “IT meets Automation.”  The conference will feature OPC Unified Architecture experts and users from a number of industries.   For those who are new to OPC Unified Architecture (UA), there will be a Pre-Conference on Tuesday morning which will cover the basics of the technology, a look at security and how to get started with OPC UA.  Details and registration.

    OPCdayEuropeOpenOpcUa Event

    OpenOpcUa, jointly with its sponsors, invites you to attend a hands-on workshop on OPC UA and OpenOpcUa April 23-24 in New York City. This exceptional event will allow you to discover the benefits of the new OPC Foundation Unified Architecture: OPC UA and how to develop UA components using OpenOpcUa.
