China has set its sights on becoming a leader in cloud manufacturing by 2019. As such, it aims to increase the scale of its cloud computing industry by more than 2.5 times between 2015 and 2019, and the government wants to see Chinese companies leading the global market within three years.
The company INDICS hopes to play a key role in driving this growth in the manufacturing sector, and they have decided to use the Matrikon FLEX OPC UA SDK to provide their CASIC cloud infrastructure with OPC UA communication. They developed an OPC UA interface for users of its cloud manufacturing platform in just two months.
